ACC Coverage for Your Treatment

We are an ACC-registered practice. This means if you have an approved ACC claim for an injury, you can receive subsidised acupuncture treatment with us to support your recovery.

How does it work?

Acupuncture is a recognised and funded treatment for helping you recover from a wide range of injuries. However, as acupuncturists, we cannot lodge a new claim for you. 

Here is the process to receive ACC-funded treatment: 

• First, get an ACC claim number: After you've had an accident or injury, you must first visit your GP, a physiotherapist, or an osteopath. They will assess your injury and lodge the ACC claim on your behalf. 

• Book your acupuncture appointment: Once your claim is approved and you have your ACC claim number, you can then book an appointment with us for your acupuncture treatment. 

• Bring your details: Please bring your approved ACC claim number and the date of your injury to your first appointment.

What's covered?

With an approved claim, ACC will subsidise a portion of your treatment cost. You will be responsible for paying the remaining amount, which is known as a co-payment or surcharge.
